Faith in Recovery from Injury
One of the big obstacles I encounter when helping people recover from low-back pain, a running injury, or even a twisted ankle, is a person's natural desire to not feel any more pain while doing the correct movements and exercises (it's a reasonable instinct). The problem is, in order to get healthy and strong after an injury, you often have to go through some pain to get there. Having faith in yourself that you can and will recover is the key to overcoming this "mind over body" issue.
